Group Therapy

The Circles All Around Us, Embracing Support and Connection

Group therapy connects your child or teen to a space of mutual support. Together, youth with shared experiences or similar goals explore personal growth. Groups may be focused on specific topics of need like anxiety, school stress, grief, neurodivergence, etc. Other groups are designed to help children and teens understand and make sense of their experiences while learning new skills and strategies.

Benefits of Group Therapy:

  • Peer Support: Sharing experiences and concerns can reduce feelings of isolation and increase validation. Children learn from and support each other, gaining insights and perspectives from their peers' experiences.

  • Skill Development: Observing and learning from others' behaviors as they practice new skills in a non-judgemental setting.

  • Feedback: Empowering change through education of the how and why of our behavior, thoughts, and emotions.
