Theraplay trained

Hi, I’m Jenessa. I’m a therapist, former school counselor, and former teacher who has spent much of my career supporting children, teens, young adults, and families.

I believe behavior makes more sense when we understand what’s happening underneath it. Whether I’m working with a teen who feels overwhelmed, a neurodivergent young adult navigating increasing independence and finding ways to thrive that work for them, or a parent trying to better understand their child, my goal is to help people make sense of their experiences and find a way forward that feels authentic and sustainable.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and developmentally informed. I work closely with parents and families to strengthen connection and better understand individual needs, while giving teens and young adults a space where they can feel understood, build insight, and develop the skills and confidence they need to move toward greater independence.

I also work with adults of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions.
